Purchasing & Warehouse Officer

Full-Time position

Location: O’Sullivan Beach 5166

Are you an experienced cabinet maker ready for your next career move?
We’re looking for a hands-on Purchasing & Warehouse Officer to join our award-winning Adelaide joinery team. This is a full time role and suits someone who is looking to get off the tools and understands materials, suppliers, and workshop flow.

What you’ll do:

  • Source suppliers and maintain trusted partnerships.
  • Negotiate pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage purchase orders, inventory, and warehouse operations.
  • Track incoming materials and backorders.
  • Ensure quality standards and cost-effective procurement.
  • Keep accurate records and identify opportunities to save time and money.
  • Coordinate machine and vehicle servicing and maintenance schedules.
  • Handle any ad hoc duties as required
  • Work collaboratively with the drafting and production teams to maintain workflow and meet deadlines

What we’re looking for:

  • A background in cabinet making or joinery (essential).
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded but is not essential.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive mindset with attention to detail.

CNC OPERATOR

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our award-winning Adelaide joinery team. As the 2022 & 2025 HIA Cabinet Maker of the Year, we continue to deliver high-end, bespoke joinery for Adelaide’s top builders and interior designers.

This role would be ideal for an experience cabinet maker looking at getting off the tools. You will be responsible for operating our CNC machine and Edge Bander while helping coordinate workflow and keeping the workshop orgainised and running efficiently. 

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up and operating CNC machine and edge banders 
  • Read and interpret drawings and CNC programs
  • Check components for accuracy and quality
  • Carry out basic machine maintenence and troubleshooting 
  • Receive, check and organise deliveri
  • Assist with stock and material organisation
  • Organise the daily work roster for workshop staff
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and meets our high-quality standards
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain workflow and meet production deadlines

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Trade qualification
  • Ability to read and interpret plans
  • Current white card
  • A team-first attitude and reliability
  • Forklift license (not essential)
