In 2023, Artisan Joinery was proud to receive the New Kitchen $45,000 – $65,000 award at the prestigious HIA South Australian Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards, in collaboration with Klemm Homes.

"To adequately explain architect Alan Cooper's design intention, perhaps the best examples are found in the living area and kitchen space. It is where the light tones of natural timber and marble in the floor and furniture are positioned side by side with the dark joinery to encapsulate class and elegance."

"This clever and complex use of material in the kitchen is delightful. This is a high-functioning space for a chef’s kitchen that is highly practical with ease of movement between spaces that is visually stunning. the kitchen with its dark and moody feel, pushes the boundaries with experimenting with its bold and dramatic colour scheme. The contrast of the dark, back joinery and Dekton Fossil used on either side of the kitchen as the benchtop and splashback, allows the Carrera marble island bench to stand out. The use of these dark tones allows the space to ooze with class and sophistication."
